Le Grand Tour is a high jewelry collection inspired by 18th- and 19th-century journeys across Europe — a celebration of art, culture, and discovery. I worked on adapting this narrative into motion and digital formats, creating videos and assets that conveyed the collection’s elegance and historical depth while remaining contemporary and light.
Challenge
The challenge was to capture the collection’s poetic, historical essence while presenting it in a modern, visually captivating way that would resonate online. The goal was to evoke emotion and narrative through rhythm, composition, and refined motion.

Solution

Inspired by the cabinets de curiosités, the signature Van Cleef & Arpels arch became a visual code and symbolic doorway — guiding viewers through a digital journey across the cities that inspired the collection. Rhythm and refined detail shaped each animation, evoking quiet discovery while preserving the brand’s signature elegance.

Motion Direction

Defined a calm and cinematic motion language — slow pans, tactile light shifts, and arch transitions inspired by the fluidity of travel.

Visual Editing

Balanced product close-ups and contextual visuals to evoke journey and emotion without overwhelming the jewelry’s detail.

Narrative Cohesion

Maintained consistency with the Maison’s tone through type, color, and pacing — making every piece feel part of the same journey.
Result

The motion pieces, social adaptations, and dedicated mini site extended Le Grand Tour’s storytelling beyond the physical pieces — transforming Van Cleef & Arpels’ craftsmanship, history, and poetry into a digital journey.
